The second half of 2022 was even busier than the first 6 months, but we finished the season on a high with some great results.
Picking up from July, the 3rd saw us travelling down to Lydden Hill for the HRDC, then onto Brands Hatch on the 9th & 10th for the HSCC, Snetterton Historic 16th & 17th followed by Oulton Park 29th – 31st, good results with some more class wins.

August – Can be a quiet month for racing, time to catch up a little and get the second BMW 1800 ready for action. Harry had also added a TVR to his collection so we had a test day at Goodwood on 9th August. We then headed to Silverstone at the end of the month for the Classic.

16th – 18th September was the Goodwood Revival, the event was run with respect for the death of her late majesty Queen Elizabeth II, with a gun salute and many attendees wearing black armbands. The sun shone and there was some very competitive racing, our driver Harry Barton was paired with Matt Neal racing the BMW 1800 Neue Klasse in the St Mary’s Trophy.

30th September Nigel and Tom headed to Spa Six Hours, Belgium. First time in europe since we left the EU so lots to get to grips with producing a carnet and getting all the paperwork in place. Good trip, but appalling conditions very heavy rain which unfortunately caused a problem with the alternator on the last lap, meaning Harry was unable to finish the race. Harry drove very well though and it was good experience gained with many more European events planned for next year.
Very wet conditions at Spa 2022
October –15th -16th Silverstone National Finals very successful weekend for Harry Barton, winning both his classes in the BMW and TVR, securing the HSCC Historic Touring Cars Championship and awarded Young Driver of the Year by the HSCC.

22nd – 23rd October back to Silverstone for the Silverstone GP Finals. Racing the TVR Griffith in the 3 hour Pall Mall Cup, and the BMW 1800 in the HRDC.
We teamed up with Nigel Reuben Racing and his son Ollie Rueben shared the drive with Harry Barton. This was our first foray into endurance racing and what a result, 3rd overall! More planned for next year with the same pairing, an entry already secured for the Spa 6 hour.
