1965 BMW 1800 Ti Race Car

Description

This car was built in Germany for Hans Josef Bierman who raced it in the early 90’s through to the mid 2000’s.

He sold the car to Grahame and Olly Bryant in 2007, they competed in the Masters Historic Touring Car Championship and then part exchanged this car through Laranca Engineering, for one of the Dieter Quester built 1800’s. Laranca Engineering re built the car and sold it on to Richard Solomons (in 2013), who had great success with the car along side Andy Priaulx – Goodwood, Silverstone Classic and numerous other European events.

In 2020 the car was purchased by Robin Ellis who raced it on occassions until COVID stopped play. We purchased the car in 2024 and completely re built all components, upgrading and modifying to bring it up to the latest specification. We used it when we had time and lent it to an ex Touring Car driver to take part in the British Touring Car Championship support race at Croft – the car performed superbly well – 3 class wins and 3 epic battles with the Lotus Cortinas.

Now offered for sale – ready to use and enjoy a safe introduction to Historic Motorsport. We are able to offer full race support for this car in most Championships.
