Anglesey Circuit
BMW Car Club organised a track day at Anglesey Circuit, in March where examiners were on hand for those wishing to complete their ARDS (Association of Racing Driver Schools) test. Kevin Sears had purchased our lovely white Championship winning BMW 1800 Neue Klasse and in the strong winds and rain, successfully passed his ARDS. We are looking forward to seeing Kevin out competing.

We took 3 of Barton Racing’s Cars to Goodwood in April and were excited to unveil the Lister Storm which we had spent the previous winter re-commissioning.

Masters Pre-66 Touring Cars – Zandvoort Historic Grand Prix
Very wet quali at Zandvoort, but then the sun came out and Harry secured a Class win and 1st Podium overall in the under 2 litres.

Masters Pre-66 Touring Cars – BRNO Grand Prix Revival – Czech Republic
After an epic two day journey to BRNO Tom Bridger, Neil Lampard and Caleb Yates (who joined us earlier in the year, pictured with pitboard) had a very hot but successful weekend. Harry secured another Class win with the BMW Neue Klasse.

Everard Pre-66 Touring Cars – Celebrating 50 Years of Classic Touring Car Racing by Supporting the British Touring Cars – Croft Circuit
Simon Blanckley an ex British Touring Car Driver himself drove our BMW Neue Klasse for the support races at Croft, a fantastic fast paced weekend, which was televised on ITV4, excellent coverage and very well received by all.

Testing our latest recently completed build BMW 2002 – Donington
We recently completed a new project for Alex Heynes of the Car Hotel, Broadway. We started by stripping the shell and then sent it to Warren of North East Autobodies who did another fantastic paint job for us. We collected the car in February, such a striking colour BMW Inca Orange.

Classic Touring Car Racing Club Pre-66 touring Cars – Snetterton
Robin Ellis drove the BMW Neue Klasse, he had a fantastic P6 in qualifying and Class wins in both races. A fun weekend with some competitive racing for all involved.
